Parent and Baby Yoga

Welcome to the ultimate bonding experience for you and your little one!

Parent and Baby yoga classes are just the best class! We listen to the babies magical coos as the parent completes some gentle stretches and watch the connection grow between parent and child during baby time. These classes offer a perfect blend benefiting both parent and child.

The classes are held in The Nest Studio, Kingswood

Tuesday 10.15am

Wednesday 10.15am

I have really enjoyed Baby Yoga.Vicky is a really good teacher. It helped bond with my baby and gave me tips to use at home to soothe baby and help baby with problems of wind, constipation and crying. My little one went to this class from 6 weeks old to 7 months old and even when he started crawling, Vicky was prepared with toys and was happy to hold, play and entertain him whilst still running the class. There is no pressure to have your baby 'behave' as they are free to feed, make noises, sleep and cry. It's one of the best baby classes I've been to.

Why Parent and Baby yoga?

  • Strengthen Your Bond: Experience a deeper connection with your baby through shared activities that promote physical touch and eye contact. It's a wonderful way to spend quality time together.

  • Promote Physical Health: Gentle yoga poses helps you strengthen and increase flexibility, while also promoting your baby's physical development.

  • Emotional Well-being: The calming nature of yoga supports emotional balance and stress relief for both you and your baby. It’s a peaceful way to navigate the challenges of parenthood.

  • Social Interaction: Meet other parents in a supportive community setting. Share experiences, make new friends, and learn from each other.

What to expect in the class

It is important you know that these are relaxed classes and if you need to feed, change baby or just cuddle them because they are upset, then that is absolutely fine.

Each class is split into Parent time which starts with breathing exercises and gentle yoga poses, followed by baby yoga time which will include baby stretches and songs/rhymes to keep your baby engaged.

These classes are open to complete beginners.
