Children and Family Yoga

Children and toddlers practicing yoga gives me pure joy! There is no questioning unicorn, whale or elephant pose as their imagination just flows. They love discovering the breathwork, the poses and games we can play and the themed classes make each session different and engaging.

Family yoga sessions are a playful and nurturing environment where parents and kids bond through the practice of yoga.

Family Yoga - Monthly, Saturdays in Kingswood Village Hall

Children's Yoga is run in local nurseries and schools

Children's Yoga

Children nowadays are under a lot of stress, yoga gives them a chance to stop, connect to their bodies, build strength, balance and improve focus as well as giving them tools to relax and calm down. These are fun, themed classes which can be run at nurseries, playgroups and schools incorporating curriculum learning or just offering pure escapism as part of PPA cover or just part of wellbeing focus for children in a fun and unique way.

Family Yoga

Fun, playful class that allows the whole family to join in together. It is a brillant way to connect and bond with your family. Each class will have some focus on our breath, different poses as well as partner yoga and a lovely family relaxation.

Siân, Kingswood Primary

“Thanks so much for running the yoga sessions this afternoon. It was such a joy to see all the children getting involved and giving it go. We all loved the positive messages at the end. Really great sessions. Thank you. "

Elaine, Oak Tree Nursery

"Vicky joined us to teach Pre-school children in the Nursery.
Vicky plans each session, often tailoring her plans to what we are teaching, thus extending the children’s knowledge and experiences.
Each session is original, engaging and the children look forward to the weekly sessions. Vicky is a real asset, working together as part of the team. She has built up lovely relationships with all the children and makes a real effort to know all their names and personalities. We all love Vicky!"

"I have recently attended a Family Yoga course and both my daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and can't wait for the sessions to resume next month. Vicky is a great, caring and enthusiastic teacher and made sure, having learnt that I had a hernia, that all of the stretches and exercises were comfortable for me, and adapted them where needed. My daughter (who is 6) also really enjoyed the sessions, and we both have been able to incorporate some of the exercises - both physical and the calming breathing exercise - into our daily life."
