Congratulations on your upcoming birthing adventure. You may be feeling that you are not ready. Firstly please don't listen to all those negative birth stories, instead let's embrace the wonder of the women's body and its ability to give birth naturally. This empowering birthing preparation workshop is aimed at getting you and your birthing partner ready for this exciting natural experience.

This 2.5 hour workshop will focus on the following key components:

  • Breathing Techniques - Learn effectve breathing exercises to help manage the sensations that you experience at the different stages of labour as well as those to use to maintain focus during labour. I will guide your through various breathing patterns tailored to different stages of labour.

  • Good positions for labour and birthing - Explore and practice a range of optimal positions for labour and delivery that can enhance comfort, promote progression, and allow for a more efficient birthing process. 

  • Massage Points for the Birthing Partner - Discover the power of touch with hands-on demonstrations of massage points and techniques that the birthing partner can use to provide comfort and support during labour. These targeted massages can help alleviate the sensations of labour and give a sense of connection and reassurance to you.

By the end of this workshop, you'll feel more confident, informed, and prepared for the journey of childbirth. Whether you're a first-time parent or looking to refresh your knowledge, this workshop offers valuable insights and practical skills to enhance your birthing experience.

No previous yoga experience is needed. You are welcome to attend this workshop at any point during your pregnancy after 16 weeks. 

 

This workshop is open to up to 4 couples or offered as a private 1-2-1 class.
